Biography of Sally Gabbe

Die Brüder Max und Sally Gabbe waren gut in der jüdischen Gemeinde Ilmenaus integriert. Max gehörte das Berliner Warenhaus (Ecke Mühltor - Friedrich-Hoffmann-Straße), Sally eine Korsettfabrik. Diese wurde 1938 arisiert, der schon ältere Sally wird 1942 nach Theresienstadt deportiert und durch Hungertod ermordet.
